Church Potluck
Tuesday, May 31st 12:00 PM
This is an example of an event. It can be anything! You enter in the date, title, time, and add a picture if you like. It's very easy to add and remove events as someone with access to the website's editing features. If you're a volunteer at the church, for example, you can just type up whatever is in the bulletin for that week.

Here's another example of an event for your website. You can use all sorts of different styles, and even
- Bullet points
- Just like this...
You will probably want to include the location, along with any important information like sign-ups, etc.

Imagine how much time you could save and how many more people you could reach with an events page like this! Let's say your church does a lot with Facebook. You're probably pretty used to having create an event on Facebook every time something new is coming up, right? But what if you just put a link to the events page of your website at the top of your Facebook page instead, saying, "Check out our website to see what events we have coming up!" That would encourage Facebook users to explore the rest of your website, and it would allow the folks who don't use Facebook to stay connected. Or let's say you print a lot of bulletins with a lot of updates in them every week. Wouldn't it be nice just to put a link to your events page instead, save the paper, save the time, keep your congregation focused on worshipping together?
